Special Classes

The Cottage is always doing something different.  New things are added, new classes are scheduled, and we like to try new and different things.

One of the things that we love at the Cottage most is teaching new techniques and visiting with friends.  And there is no better way to do that than through our classes. 

 

The cost is $20 which includes just what you need to complete your own work of art.

All Classes are on Thursdays and Saturdays unless otherwise noted. The cost for each class is $20.00.

As of May 1st all classes must be prepaid. No class refunds. If you must cancel amount will apply to next class.

  • "Love is in the air"
    Thurs. Jan 28th & Sat. Jan 30th
    TIME: 10 - 1

    Come join us while we make valentines for those special people in our lives. We will make 1 music box & 3 cards. All you need is a heart full of love and your class set!

  • Thomas kinkade
    thurs. february 4th & sat. february 13th
    TIME: 10 - 1

    Don't be afraid  of this great class. It's easier than you think! Learn to color with dye base inks and special applicator pens. You'll love it!! We will complete 3 cards.

     

  • De Boss/faux pergamano
    Thurs. feb 11th & Sat. feb 13th
    TIMe: 10 - 1

    Ever tried it? You will want to!  We will be making 4 cards using vellum paper, embossing tools, and great colors. Stop in at the Cottage to see samples!

  • Judith class
    thurs. feb 18th & sat. feb 20th
    time: 10 - 1

    We will make 6 cards this will be a fun class. Judith has such unique stamps!! Samples to follow.

  • Easter parade
    thurs. feb 25th & sat. feb 27th
    time: 10 - 1

    Come check out what tulips, baby chicks, cross, and lily stamps can make! We will be using our cuddle bug machine, specialty papers, and metallic chalks. Join the parade for learning and fun.

  • Bleach - bleach - bleach
    thurs. march 4 & sat. march 6th
    time: 10 - 1

    Good news!! We have found a new use for bleach besides on clothing. Come have fun with us. We will be making 4 or 5 cards. Samples to follow.

  • Water color class
    thurs. march 11th & sat. march 13th
    time: 10 - 1

    We will be using Pelikan water colors. Samples to follow.

  • Air Dry Clay
    THurs. march 18th & sat. march 20th
    Time: 10 - 1

    THIS IS A TWO DAY CLASS!! The $20 is for both days. We will make enough pieces to complete several projects on day 1. When pieces dry on day 2 we will assemble our projects. This is a fun, easy class. Samples to follow.

  • Copper foiling
    thurs. march 25th & sat. march 27th
    TIme: 10 - 1

Our Basic Class Kit includes:  metal edge ruler, pencil, scissors, small cutting pad, craft knife, tape and/or glue stick.  Please bring your class kit to all classes
